​The Overview.​
For the assignment of the Room Division Management course at RMIT University Vietnam, our team of 5 was asked to create a new hotel in a major city. Hence, The Quiescence was established as a 5-star hotel with the concept of tradition and modernity, aiming to deliver premium visitor value. Along with the group report, I was responsible for the visual design and PowerPoint presentation.
​The Objectives.​
The goal was to design the visual style of the 5-star hotel based on the concept of tradition and modernity. We aimed to create better visualization for our assignment report, hence, several elements need to be displayed, including the hotel logo and uniform, the illustration of each type of hotel room, the facilities, etc.

​Design theme
The Quiescence aspires to provide a premium ambiance while incorporating Vietnamese traditions and cultural blending. Therefore, the concept embraces a color palette of vintage yellow, wooden brown, and black, stimulating contrast while creating a natural and elegant setting.

Logo & Uniform
For brand consistency, the logo and uniform also use identical colors to ensure simplicity and luxury. There are 2 logo versions: dark and light theme. The lantern symbol illustrates the traditional value while the leaves reflect the quiet and calm ambiance, as we wish to deliver our esteemed guests a good rest from the hectic urban.

Hotel
Room Types
The Quiescence has 4 types of rooms, including Superior, Deluxe, Executive Suite, and Presidential Suite. All of which are fully furnished with ample workspaces and high-quality amenities. By using the vectors from Freepik, I designed the rooms with Adobe Illustrator.

​PowerPoint Presentation
The PowerPoint presentation was also designed using the same color palette to ensure consistency and authenticity. I added animations to the slides to make them more appealing to the audience. Our presentation received many positive reactions from the course lecturer and other classmates at that time.
