The Overview.
I was honored to have had the opportunity to collaborate with UEH - the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City on this motion graphic project due to the launch of their new major - Technology Management and Innovation. By producing short animated videos, this project aimed to introduce and promote the university's new major to potential students and parents.
The Objectives.
The goal was to give potential students and parents a full picture of “Technology Management and Innovation”, including key information about the program, learning environment, employment opportunities, etc. Besides, the animated videos also aimed to answer questions and clear up common mistakes about the new major.
The phases of work.

Scriptwriting
The script was written by the UII team and edited throughout the process to make sure consistency with the core message. This was also the foundation for the following stages.

Research & Storyboarding
I started doing research based on the client brief to define the concept of the videos, which is advanced technology and the future. Next, I created the storyboard to prepare for the visual version of the script.

Deciding on
Visual Style
At this stage, I had to make my decisions based on the client brief about the art design of every significant element that would appear on screens, such as the color palette, typography, and the main character.

Typography.
Teino - The Character.
The main character was named Teino (Technopreneur), who comes from the future: the year 2026. He would be the narrator for the animated videos that informed the viewers about the new major - Technology Management and Innovation. To design this character, I had to look for references from different sources about robots and artificial intelligence. The design process was made with PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator.

Illustration & Animation
Instead of using other sophisticated softwares, these animated videos were created entirely with PowerPoint. At this phase, I used PPT effects and animations to give movement to the characters and other elements that appear on the screen.

Voiceover & Video Editing
It's time to bring the script to life with the support of a suitable narrator, who will be in charge of the voiceover for the animated videos. Following that, I was responsible for editing and synchronizing the voiceover, sound effects, and music with the visual section.
